Open-Informatics privacy policy

Privacy Policy

This policy describes the public Open-Informatics website and Healthcare Admin Workbench, a public app build intended for deidentified healthcare administration workflows.

Scope

Open-Informatics publishes static website content and public healthcare intelligence project information. Healthcare Admin Workbench is intended to help users work with deidentified, aggregate healthcare administration questions.

The public build is not designed to receive protected health information, patient-specific facts, regulated private data, credentials, or confidential business records.

Information users must not submit

Do not submit PHI, patient-specific facts, MRNs, member IDs, claim numbers, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, confidential payer contract text, payer portal exports, EHR records, claims files, credentials, or regulated private data.

Healthcare Admin Workbench is built for deidentified administrative workups. Users are responsible for removing identifiers and ensuring prompts are appropriate before submitting them.

Public build limits

Healthcare Admin Workbench detects common sensitive patterns and blocks those prompts with deidentified rewrite guidance. Pattern detection is a safeguard, not permission to submit sensitive information.

The public build uses static workflow and source metadata. It does not connect to live EHR, claims, payer portal, contract, or write-capable integrations.

The public build does not submit forms, send messages, create tickets, mutate external systems, or perform external write actions.

Logs and analytics

Operational logs should not store raw prompts or regulated private data. The public website does not include a checked-in analytics script. The hosted static site may collect basic server logs needed for security, availability, and abuse prevention.

Open-Informatics does not claim HIPAA compliance, BAA coverage, SOC 2, HITRUST, or other certification status for this public build.

Support contact

For support, use the public GitHub issue tracker at github.com/ajhcs/open-informatics/issues. Support requests must use non-sensitive descriptions only.

See the Support page for what to include and what to leave out.
